When the email lands, when the deal collapses, when the fight starts, your body triggers a hijack. Your IQ literally drops.

The prefrontal cortex (logic brain) goes offline.

You have to breathe your way out.
This is the protocol used by Navy SEALs, snipers, first responders,
and now: you.
Box Breathing:
→ Inhale through nose: 4 seconds (deep belly breath)
→ Hold full lungs: 4 seconds
→ Exhale through mouth: 4 seconds
→ Hold empty lungs: 4 seconds
Repeat the cycle 4 times. Total: 64 seconds.
In those 64 seconds:
→ Vagus nerve activates
→ Sympathetic (fight/flight) shifts to Parasympathetic (rest/digest)
→ Heart rate drops
→ Logic returns
The reaction you choose AFTER 4 rounds of box breathing
is almost never the reaction you’d have chosen before.
You are the Emperor of your own mind.
But only if you breathe like one when the empire is on fire.
