We talk about priorities all the time.
But the original word was singular.
Priority. One thing.
The thing that mattered most.
Somewhere along the way we pluralised it
and entrepreneurs have been paying for that mistake ever since.
I see it in nearly every entrepreneur I coach.
– Everything is important
– Everything is urgent
– Everything is a priority
Which means nothing is.
I have the same problem (honestly)
My mental and physical health are extremely important to me.
✅ So is my family
✅ So is my time freedom
✅ So are my friends in Epic Adventures
And then there’s money.
All of them pull.
All of them ask for attention.
But here’s what I’ve come to appreciate:
There are seasons for everything.
When I’m in a heavy work season
my health doesn’t grow, I just maintain it.
Family doesn’t get more of me,
it gets a steadier version of me.
Adventure waits its turn.
You don’t win by giving 20% to five things.
You win by giving 100% to the one thing the season belongs to and trusting the rest will get their season too.
Priority is singular for a reason.
📌 What’s actually getting your priority this season and does your calendar agree?
