Usually I work out every single day, but today I did not feel like it…at all. Not in the mood. Super low energy. So, I did this:
I worked out.
Nothing crazy, just put in the reps.
Because it doesn’t matter how I feel.
Look: I am not super human (my wife will be the first to tell you 😂 ).
But my feelings will often try to stop me from doing important things:
• Do Deep Work
• Eat healthy food
• Sleep at least 8 hours
And yes: work out every day.
However, I have an agreement…with myself.
It’s a simple one: I work out every day.
I hate to break promises.
Especially to myself. 😉
It undermines my self-image and confidence.
Is it always easy? No, of course not.
I struggle.
Sometimes I fail.
But not today.
And it feels great. 🤩
