Special Ops Sniper Course. The one I’m most proud of completing. Also, the one I almost failed. This I learned 👇

Special Ops Sniper Course. The one I’m most proud of completing. Also, the one I almost failed. This I learned 👇

It was long and intense.
It taught me the most crucial lesson in excellence, even though I was never deployed as a sniper.

Picture this: You’re a 2-man team.
That means that, if you are discovered by the enemy, you are outnumbered and outgunned by a factor of 1:50 easily.
One mistake = Game Over.
The margin for error? Zero.

Just some of the things you need to master:
• Perfect camouflage adaptation
• Flawless terrain navigation
• Precise target identification
• Exact distance calculation
• Perfect shot execution
Rain, wind, moving targets, long range… Doesn’t matter.
The shot must be perfect.

The lesson: All. Details. Matter.

But here’s where it gets interesting…
Fast forward to business life.
I’m a huge advocate of the 80/20 principle:
Focus on the vital few tasks that deliver the most results.
It´s how I built several 7- and 8-figure businesses, while working part-time at most.
80/20 Principle sounds contradictory to “all details matter”, right?
That’s what I thought.

Until I applied the Sniper’s precision to analyzing my time.
You see, I already thought I applied 80/20 thinking all the way.
But I was in for a rude surprise.

This is what I did:
I tracked every 15 minutes. For an entire week.
Like adjusting a scope, every detail counted.
What I discovered shocked me:
Even as an 80/20 expert, I was missing my targets.

• You need extreme precision to identify what doesn’t matter
• You need perfect clarity to eliminate noise
• You need detailed analysis to simplify execution
Just like a sniper needs perfect awareness to take one perfect shot,
You need a detailed examination to achieve excellence.

YOUR EXECUTION PROTOCOL:
Gather Intelligence
– Track everything
– Leave no detail unexamined
– Build complete awareness

Identify Targets
– Spot time-wasters
– Mark energy-drainers
– Flag decision-points

Take the Shot
– Eliminate the unnecessary
– Delegate the non-critical
– Focus on high-impact actions

Because sometimes… You don’t know what you don’t know.
Until you look through the scope and zero in.

I still did tasks I needed to either eliminate or delegate. Stupid me.

Outside business
It might surprise you to hear that the same applies to your life outside business.

– Determine your priorities: Health? Deeper relationships? Kick ass adventures?
– Identify the 80/20
– Track how much time you are actually spending on these
– Adjust your time allocation

Simple, right?
Give it a shot (pun intended 😄).

Track your time this week. And get ready to be surprised!
