March 2020: Me, Lockdown, over 1 Million in debt, uncertainty. This Special Forces skill pulled me through….

Covid had just hit Europe. Hard.

Imagine having a travel business when the entire world suddenly stops traveling.

That was me. Not in my ´happiest place´.

Within one brutal week:
• Revenue: €0
• Clients: Panicking
• Suppliers: Desperate
• Employees: Stressed out

The numbers were crushing:
• Seven-figure debt suffocating us
• Operating costs bleeding us dry
• Personal savings evaporating daily

And the worst enemy? Uncertainty.

Remember those apocalyptic headlines?
“Travel is dead forever”
“Airlines will never recover”
“The end of tourism as we know it”

But then something kicked in.

A skill I learned in Special Operations that saved my sanity:

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

In Afghanistan, it worked like this:

Heavy fighting in Mazar i Sharif?
“We’re OK in Kabul.”

Bombs in Kabul?
“We weren’t even on patrol in that part of the city.”

Mortar fire on our compound?
“Other side of camp. Everyone’s alive.”

This isn’t denial. It’s perspective.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲-𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻:
When you’re facing challenges, remember:
• Every crisis has its edges
• Your perspective determines your outcome
• This too shall pass

Your game isn’t over until YOU quit playing.

Today, looking back, that crisis was just another chapter in our story.

Not the end.

That crisis you are facing today?
– Your health?
– Your business?
– Your relationships?

You´ll be OK.

Just remember you have survived 100% of your toughest times.

Remember what you are grateful for.
