Last month, a coaching client had trouble creating a 5-year vision for his life. But that all changed when I told him this:
Just write down when you would consider your life a complete failure.
Create your Anti Vision.
In full detail.
For everybody, that’s easy:
– Unhealthy, low energy, and sick all the time
– Dying with unfulfilled dreams
– Alone and unloved
– Time stress
– Depressed
…
Easy list to make. It keeps flowing.
It’s because avoiding pain comes more naturally to us than seeking to thrive.
And then turn that list around 180 degrees.
Because if you ask somebody what the best ‘healthy food’ is, you get 100 opinions.
But if you ask about ‘bad food’, everybody kinda agrees.
Don’t overstudy it.
You already know your ideal Life.
It’s the opposite of what you don’t want.
Start there.
