I used to want to retire early.
Now I want to work forever.
What changed?
In 2009, I decided that the business would support my lifestyle.
Not the other way around.
I put Lifestyle Design on Numero 1:
– Kick *ss relation with wife Manon and daughter Leyla
– Health, physical and mental batteries are always full
– Time and Location Freedom allowing Travel
All supported by enough money. (A foreign concept to many: ´enough´ 😉 )
I have:
– Outsourced all ´not-important-but-kinda-urgent´ stuff
– Eliminated tasks that drain my energy
– Work on projects that excite me
– I never pick up my phone. It´s always on ´silent´.
– I get 0 ´the-business-is-on-fire-help!´ calls or texts.
– I don´t do recurring calls, except with my coaching clients.
(I love these, by the way)
Now work does not feel like work anymore.
Retire? From what exactly?
All it took was 1 decision. Best one I ever made.
