I used to think I was a ‘self-made man’.

I used to think I was a ‘self-made man’. But after over two decades of being an entrepreneur, I know I owe a lot to my wife.

I easily get caught up in my own train of thought:
– I did some stuff.
– Had a couple of wins.
– I think I had some wins because I did some stuff.

Therefore: “I am awesome.” 😂

Complete BS of course.

Because there are so many variables that go into success (however you define it):
– Stupid luck
– Business partners
– Co-workers
Are among them.

But I’ve come to realize that most of my success can be attributed to my wife.

We’ve been together for over 25 years, through many life changes:
– In and out of Special Operations Forces
– Moved to Spain and Andorra
– Have a daughter, Leyla
– Lots of business stuff
– She became a Masters World Champion Downhill Mountain Bike rider (5 times 🥇 )

And it is only because we are such a good team that I have been able to have a good life.

The things I don’t get:
– Drama
– Nagging and complaining
– Undermining of my self-confidence

What I am most grateful for:
– Support
– Love
– Care

Super grateful for that. Thanks, hon! ❤️

I love being on this adventure with you.

P.S. This has been hugely important in our relationship:
In 2009 we made a decision:
“How we make money supports our lifestyle. Not the other way around.”
That one decision gave us Time Freedom.

That means, as life partners, we have time to pursue what we’re passionate about and not feel guilty about it.

I think that has been a huge advantage: No Time Stress.
