7 Days ago, I was freediving in Bali. Today I’m back in the Matrix.
What happened?
In Bali, each day was carefully crafted:
• Sunrise family workout in Ubud
• Breakfast at hidden gem cafes
• Afternoons exploring secret temples
• Sunset dinners at perfect restaurants
Optimizing for peak experiences.
Always thinking: “What more value can we get from this experience?”
Every day was precious – we couldn’t waste a single moment of our 3 weeks in paradise.
Now I’m back home.
Yesterday: 6 hours behind my computer, handling incoming tasks, staying indoors, doing routine stuff, watching Netflix.
The irony hits hard:
I treated three weeks in Bali like precious diamonds, while treating my regular days like an infinite resource.
But here’s the thing – my regular life is just as limited as my vacation days.
We get about 30,000 days on this planet.
And we’ve spent quite a few already.
Each one just as valuable as a day in Bali.
So why do we optimize our vacations but coast through our lives?
Your regular Tuesday deserves the same intentionality as that perfect day in paradise.
Make it count.
Have an Epic Weekend!
