In 2004, as a Special Ops officer in Iraq, I learned a lesson that transformed my approach to decisions: ๐Ÿ‘‡

If you have 80% of the information, act.

One mission crystallized this.
Intel showed a local figure stockpiling weapons against coalition forces.
Our information wasn’t complete, but waiting meant risking lives.
We moved. That decision likely saved lives.

Business isn’t combat, but the principle holds:
– LinkedIn launched before it was “perfect”
– Uber started before having all answers
– Airbnb began without a complete model

They succeeded because they moved at 80%, then adjusted.

Yet I see entrepreneurs paralyzed:
– Waiting for perfect market research
– Seeking flawless products
– Chasing 100% certainty

In personal life, it’s even worse:
– Another fitness video won’t make you fit
– Another self-help book won’t change your life
– Another guru won’t solve your problems

You already know what to do:
– Eat better, move more
– Spend time with loved ones
– Start that side project
– Take that trip

Stop consuming. Start doing.

Success Formula:
1. Outline your priorities
2. Pick the first to work on
3. Make the decision at 80%
4. Act
5. Correct along the way

Stop waiting. Start moving.
