The most expensive thing I ever bought. It brings me joy every day:
There is 1 thing that was more expensive than all others combined.
But it is so worth it. I enjoy it every day.
So what do you think it is? I´ll help you out.
It´s not:
– a Ferrari (the one in the picture is not mine by the way ;-))
– a Luxury home
– First class travel
The most expensive thing I ever bought is: TIME.
Lots of people trade Time for Money each day.
I trade Money for Time.
Because in the end we can always get more money.
But we cannot get more time.
The real scarcity in life is time.
The additional advantages of having more time is:
– Focus on physical and mental health
(feel fit and energetic in stead of ´old´)
– Deeper relationships
(in stead of superficial ´pass-each-other-in-the-hallway-going-to-work-or-school´ ones)
– Live a life of purpose and Kick Ass Adventures
(not wondering where all the years went without any significant moments)
Time to be present. Time to be alive. Time to be intentional.
Because when you’re 80, you won’t wish you spent more hours in Zoom meetings.
You’ll wish you had more moments that made your heart race, your soul sing, and your life mean something.
Time isn’t just money. Time is life itself.
And that’s why it’s the best investment I’ve ever made.
