2 Weeks ago I was hit by a serious case of scarcity thinking. It felt awful.
The main problem:

I was on a 5-week vacation in Bali with my family.
That costs money. ๐Ÿ˜‰

“Do I even have enough money?”
“I love my life; how can I keep it this way as long as possible?”
“How can I make more money?”

These were thoughts that frequently crossed my mind.

– Frantically checking my investments on a downturn,
– Checking my bank account way too often,
– Talking to my family about how much money we had spent that day
(idiot: spreading the scarcity thinking)

Not ‘typical me.’ At all. I was stressed.

So I checked my habits:
– Daily sports: โœ…
– Eating healthily: โœ…
– Reading: โœ…
– Enough sleep: โœ…

But for an unknown reason, I had not meditated for almost a week. โŒ
It happened because we were moving a lot. No routine.

So I immediately sat down for quiet time.
The answer came to me within minutes.

“This is what the money is actually for.”
Enjoy it with the people I love.
We only make money to convert it into experiences.

Because experiences and memories are the real currency.

I instantly relaxed and enjoyed the rest of my vacation.

Funny how scarcity thinking can slip into your thoughts and really mess up your life enjoyment.

Even when you are vigilant of your thoughts.

The main thing I learned:
If something feels off:
– Check your habits.
– Schedule quiet time.
– Let the answer come to you.

Don’t let scarcity thinking mess up your life experience.

What thoughts need your attention?

PS: Enjoy this?
