It’s crazy how well I protect these valuables, but ignored the most important ones:
– Lock my house
– Car in the garage
– A vault for important papers
– A quadruple login for my bank account
Safe, safe, safe.
Because they are important.
Valuable.
You do the same, right?
Meanwhile, however….
Our most valuable assets:
➡️ Time…
– We throw it away on social media by the hour
– Hand it over to Netflix/HBO/Prime Video
– Let our focus scatter all over the place
What I did:
– Deleted all social media apps from my phone
– Watch Netflix, if at all, during cardio
– Do deep work
➡️ Energy…
– Wasted on toxic people
– Working ourselves into a guaranteed burnout
– Spent on anything but our priorities
What I did:
– Pruned my social connections to keep my energy high
– Work 4 hours per day
– Be intentional
➡️ Health…
– Eat and drink low-grade fuel
– Try to move as little as possible
– Treat sleep like a luxury instead of a priority
What I did:
– Carefully select my food (no alcohol for over 10 years now)
– 4% Rule: At least 1 hour working out per day and an active lifestyle
(Today I almost killed myself doing intervals on Airbike and Concept2 Rower 😃)
– Make sleep my #1 priority (at least 8 hours per night).
This is the first thing I fix with my coaching clients.
Crazy when you think of it like this, right?
